GS TROPHY: PART ONE ALBANIA • That was how it was meant to end, with the same level of conviction to party as there'd been to play out one of the most spectacular adventure challenges known to motorcycling. It was the morning after the night before and I was in one hell of a state, struggling to put one foot in front of the other. I wasn't the only one. There were bodies staggering randomly, kit was dotted all over, and occasional, pained groans constituted the dawn chorus. It was like a scene from a budget remake of the Hangover movies. I wanted to laugh but my pounding head had other ideas. I slumped down in my tent and took a moment to reflect, trying to comprehend the magnitude of what had just happened. The people. The challenges. The views. The laughs. In a heartbeat it had come and gone, but the impact it had made will surely last a lifetime.
