Leading the digital transformation that will drive innovation in the art industry and realise Art for all • The news of author Han Kang winning the Nobel Prize in Literature, following the global success of K-pop, movies, and dramas, has elevated Korean literature to the center stage of the world. Regarding this phenomenon of Hallyu gaining attention, Habitus Associates CEO Bo Young Song states that it is the power of content that draws out a global ‘universal consensus’ based on the most Korean sentiments. CEO Bo, who has been active as a gallerist, has embarked on the challenge of moving the art exhibition and brokerage methods, which were centered offline, to online platforms. KIOST is expanding its research area to the ocean as well as the coast of Korea, and is making remarkable achievements at the forefront of marine science and technology, including marine resource exploration, marine bio research, climate change solution research, research on responding to changes in the marine environment, research on marine energy, underwater robots, and new marine industries using ICT technology, and research on strengthening marine power for disaster and disaster prediction and territorial defense.

The Korea Environmental Engineering Society, the largest environmental academic organisation in Korea, is a professional leader in finding solutions to environmental problems. As a bridge between industry, academia, research, and government, the KSEE is contributing to the development of more practical solutions for carbon neutrality.
