The iPhone 13 Series is Here! • On 14th September 2021, Apple lifted the lid on the latest phones in the iPhone range. Dubbed ‘California Streaming’, the event was once again broadcast to the world over the Internet. And again, there were no attendees due to the coronavirus pandemic. Even so, it was a great event, which Internet viewers all over the world enjoyed. So what’s the story about the new iPhones? What’s new? What’s the same? Why should we be excited? Let’s take an in-depth look.

Meet the iPhone 13 and mini! • Apple has released the iPhone 13 and the 13 mini. Let’s look at these two new iPhones, and why we should be excited.

Meet the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max • Apple’s amazing iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have arrived, and they’re looking great. Let’s find out why they’re so good, and how they improve on its already-excellent predecessor, the iPhone 12 Pro.

Super-Fast 5G • Once again, the 13-series iPhones feature 5G connectivity. This is the fifth generation of the broadband cellular networks standard, and it’s very fast. All four iPhones in the iPhone 13 series feature 5G, and it’s compatible with 3G and 4G for areas that don’t yet have a 5G infrastructure.

Cameras on the iPhone 13 and 13 mini • The iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 mini have the same cameras, and Apple has revised the camera arrangement on the new iPhone 13 and 13 mini models. They’re now positioned diagonally.

Cameras on the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max • The Pro-level iPhone 13 features the most advanced camera system ever seen on an iPhone. It’s packed with some great technologies, and although not a massive step up from its predecessor, it takes some great shots.

Which iPhone is For You? • If you haven’t yet chosen a 13-series iPhone, or simply want to see how your own stands up against the others in the family, take a look at our breakdown of each different model. They’ve plenty in common, like the super-powerful A15 Bionic processor, 5G cellular data and water resistance to a depth of six meters for up to 30 minutes, but they’ve significant differences too. Would you prefer the phablet sized Max model, only available as a Pro? Or would you like the iPhone 13 mini, the smallest in the range? Is the extra camera offered by the Pros worth the extra money, or would you prefer the wider range of colours offered by the regular iPhone 13? And is price a consideration? Read our guide and make up your mind.

The Best Peripherals for Your iPhone 13 • So you’ve bought an iPhone 13. What now? We round up some of the best gadgets and gizmos for your new iPhone, including headphones, earbuds, video blogging gear, a charging stand and AirTags to keep your phone...
