      Alex Jennings again brings his vocal talents to Susan Cooper's work in the final installment of the Dark Is Rising series. The story follows Will Stanton as he works with others who serve the Light to struggle against the Dark in its last, most desperate rising. As in the past, Jennings helps create a willing suspension of disbelief and propels the listener onward with his authoritative voice. His narration uses just enough of a British accent to suggest setting without being difficult to understand. He is a master of dialogue, slipping effortlessly into the cadences of children's voices and characterizing accents from around the British Isles and beyond.
